This is my first post and would appreciate your feedback. I have been programming and running an Anilam 300M on a knee mill for the last 12 years. I write all my own programs on the console or use the offline software. The company recently bought a new knee mill with an Acurite MILLPWR G2 as a replacement. I find the G2 lacking as far as capability compared to the Anilam 3000M. The G2 graphics are much better, the radial slot feature, back and forth milling and some of the pocket features are great. I can still do all of that on the Anliam with sub programs and looping. I can program X, Y, Z rotations, mold rotations, countersinks, tapered holes and tapered thread milling on the Anilam that I can't program on the G2 console. Has anyone run both and what are your thoughts on comparing the two?
