Anodizing aluminum with stainless heli-coil inserted

Have a small piece of 6061 aluminum with a stainless heli-coil inserted that I would like to anodize. With great results I have been using the battery acid solution method and just don't know if the piece can be anodized with the stainless heli-coil inserted. Thanks

You would have to mask the holes

Yes, it will work. Stainless steel will not be bothered by the sulfuric acid. The anodize will not grow where it is covered be the helicoil. Trapped acid could maybe be an issue. I would rinse thouroughly. And the red dye on the helicoils may come off.
