Hi all, looking for 3 items for a Kalamazoo horizontal bandsaw. the work support casting that bolts to the right of the bed, a main clamping screw, and a blade cover 59 1/8" (for a unit that takes a 10' blade).

I'm breathing new life into an AH9AW automatic that was scavenged by the scrappers (they all gave up on dragging it up a narrow basement stair, that was some drama as this thing is 'effin heavy!), so a lot was missing, and I'm converting it to manual operation.
I think the work support that's directly under the blade (and has a 10 1/4" mounting hole spacing) was the same on a few different sizes, and the main screw would be similar on the 10' and 12' models, I'd just have to cut the longer one.

Thanks for looking, Cyk.

I dont know much about the various MFG various models of Bandsaws but this one has been sitting in the scare yard for awhile...I doubt they will part anything out on it but a man with some skills on negotiating might be able to get it for a songHorizontal band saw (Medium).jpg

"Cadillac Gold"? :)
haha! close, its a hammerite gold over an olive green, surprisingly, the original was a hammertoe gold, fancy for machines I'd say!
Well this WAS probably top of the line in '58, (if I'm right thinking the last two of the serial is the year on 'zoos).

It looks very similar to a "Cadillac Gold" engine paint I saw being applied on a race engine years ago...

I own two of these, an H9aw like you have, and an AH9AWV fully automatic saw. Sorry I cant help with parts but if you need any specs I can pull measurements. These things rock, my only gripe is the blade tensioning mechanism doesn't work well and I think it causes my blades to snap prematurely.

The leadscrew on my manual saw is this silly quick adjust half nut mechanism. It sucks. I would just buy a length of ACME rod and make your own screw.
Kalamazoo might have parts for yours.

Fyi I paid $500 for my manual one and $1200 for the auto saw, I would just shop around and buy another saw to keep as a parts machine, probably easier and about the same $$ as sourcing individual parts. Plus you get a lot of bonus wear parts like the gearbox.

I'll Post up some pics of mine.

well, I got it for the price of hauling it up out of the basement, and that was just fun for me, but im strange! if I had the space, I'd consider a parts machine, but I pay NYC rent, and it just went up 26%. thanks for the tip on the quick adjust, that's the one with the red ball knob? (well its red on this one)
