Like the 10 year drought here .....the seriously religious were already threatening mass suicide if they were expected to water their lawns with recycled urine,when Labor premier Anna Blight kicked off the long mooted recycled water grid....Tyco got the contract (usually do where politicians involved),and the ratepayers of this region paid for $10 billion to be buried in the dirt ,in the form of lined steel water pipes......Oddly enough ,it started raining the day after the grid was finished ,and didnt stop until the whole southeast was under water to a serious extent.......Now as well as the white elephant grid,the flood victims have been awarded billions in damages ,due to incompetent management of the big dam....All loaded on to the ratepayers debt ....Not the premier ,or the lord mayor.

That is the problem with natural cycles eh-
It dissuades that rational from getting frantic about a swing one way or the other as we expect these to reverse as they do so over time.

Years and years ago we swung into the harbor on Smith Island on the Chesapeake bay to find armed men by standing behind signs plastered all over the dock piers to "Fuck the Chesapeake Bay Foundation", "Let fishermen Fish" etc as they were having catch limits placed on them as the Biologists struggled to keep stocks sustainable.

Years later those self same fishermen became some of the strongest advocates for the CBF as without measures to protect the Bay their way of life was going to disappear.

You know nothing of the man. He struggled in school and today probably would have been diagnosed with learning disabilities. Likely spelling was tough for him growing up.

The left doesn't need Global warming anymore, they have Covid now. It has been much more effective. Oh wait, Covid is so 2020, like Global warming has moved to Climate Change, Covid has now moved to Variant. cant have too many vaccinated getting sick from what they were vaccinated for now can we.

Trees and other plants absorb CO2 and expel oxygen. Would a 50% reduction in plant life cause CO2 levels to keep rising and cause oxygen levels to fall? No. Photosynthetic cyanobacteria alone tamed the earth's early atmosphere and have always played THE major role in absorbing CO2 while keeping oxygen levels at around 20-21% for hundreds of millions of years. So if you base your beliefs on what science tells you then you must believe Photosynthetic bacteria did this before plant life appeared on the planet. That doesn't mean deforestation isn't harmful. It's just not going to cause the atmosphere to lose the balance it has maintained for hundreds of millions of years. Common Sense blows the whole Global Warming hoax to shreds. Face it, if you believe the bartender and the child over common sense, then you have more ‘SAP’ in you than the damn trees.
