Hi, I’m new to this site !
I have acquired this lathe,it had been dismantled
I have cleaned it & assembled and fitted motor with
Forward & reverse. Missing a couple of bits ! The cross
slide does not seem original ? and halve nut seems difficult
To engage ! Any helpful information would be appreciated.
Number stamped on bed & associated bits 955. Just learning
Is it worth persevering .

Its from an interesting era when this country prospered behind the tariff wall.........very likely a copy of something else ,and also likely has had parts replace or substituted...........nice to see you have it going again..........use it in good health...........Have you looked at the Lathes UK site......quite a bit on on B&A........seems your lathe may be 1947 vintage .........another intersting aside is the factory site is currently for sale for zillions in Oz pesos.
