Bridgeport gx480 tool magazine alarm

Lost air pressure on a Bridgeport gx480 while changing from T1 to T20.
When the pressure came back up, the carousel moved making a slight grinding noise (never a good thing..) and the net result is the tool numbers were out of sequence. I can go through all the tools using MDI T# M06 and the control will load what it thinks the respective tool is. I reloaded tools to match the tool with the call number,Buzzer MAGAZINE ALARM.jpg
There is a 20 position tool carousel. The original T20 that I was calling before the air air problem is in pocket 14 and this never gets called when I cycle through tool changes 1-20.
The machine won't run programs in auto mode.
The program loads as normal, but pressing cycle start does nothing.
I'm getting a message to press Reset & Buzzer Cut. What in the wide world of sports is "buzzer cut" ? A bad translation of "feed hold"??
Hopefully when I've got this figured out, the control will allow me to run a program.

I want to remove tool 20 manually from pocket 14. Can I just carefully lever it out from the ball catches in the carousel with a couple of flat head screwdrivers?? Or is there a retract button on the back of each pocket like a ball-point pen? I'm concerned that the control thinks pocket 14 is empty and will try to stick a tool into it mid- program/

There is a procedure in the manual to reset tools and pockets within the control. The manual assumes that this procedure is the same across all models of the GX series and that just isn't so. There are goofy requests to press the coolant button to make input changes which seem to only turn on the coolant..

I'm going to attach a pressure gauge to the blow-gun hose so that I can check the air pressure as I go in the future.

In the meantime,

Any ideas or suggestions?

New York City,
I contacted Hardinge- Bridgeport support for this issue..
There were a lot of back and forth emails with suggestions, none of which sorted the problem.
My guess is that everyone goes home there at 4pm which is when they stopped responding.
In exasperation, I started pressing combinations of the RESET button and other buttons on the control and I eventually hit on a winner.

Hoping someone else finds this useful.
There was absolutely no other solution documented on the web that responded to a search for this issue.
So, To clear alarm MAZAZINE RECOVERY
PRESS RESET & BUZZER CUT

Press RESET and the ALARM button on the lower control panel of the gx480. The alarm button has a red triangle in the center. This clears the alarm and brings up an instruction to go to MDI and input M148.
This appears to reset the magazine and perform some sort of homing procedure.
The tool numbers will need to be confirmed after this, but at least the control will run programs again from memory. The alarm was not allowing the control to run programs from 'cycle start" .
Who'da thunk that pressing RESET & ALARM would reset an alarm. News to me..
So after the machine being down for 2 days we're...

Back making parts.
