I could not find much info about these machines hence I started a new thread!
I am considering buying a Bridgeport VMC 610 XP, I can't send links as they are not available anymore (maybe temporary?), however, if you google the name of the machine you should be able to see some pictures.
I wonder if any of you use one, the one I am looking as Fanuc control which I am familiar with, and I can still get parts if needed, I know Bridgeport went out of business years ago but I should still be able to get main parts or refurbish existing ones.
I am particularly interested in how the machine performs on materials like steel and stainless, it's a 40 taper but it's a linear rail machine and if the specs are correct it's only 2700kg, which makes me think a little bit, it will probably vibrate more than my 30 taper Kitamura I reckon, which is double the weight and box way.
Any feedback is welcome!
