Brown & Sharpe model 1020 or 1021 gauge amplifier.

I need the specifications for an original battery charger. It came with an aftermarket wall wart and I am not sure if it has the correct voltage and amps. I replaced the batteries and it does work and shows it is charged above the battery line on the face. I would also pay for copies of the 1020 manual. Can anyone help?
