camelback drill press

Forgive me, I am new to this site. I have an Excelsior camelback floor model drill press that I am reaching out for any information I can get on this machine. It has a riveted plate on the column that reads KEMP MACHINE TOOL & MACHINERY CO. BALTO. MD. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Royersford made the Excelsior drill pressed. Your plate was put on by a machinery dealer.

Is your machine 20" or 21"?

If you search on 'camelback restoration' on Youtube, you will find a series of 5 videos made by a guy as he restored his Royersford Excelsior. Those will help you if you plan to restore yours.

By all means post pictures. One should capture the cast-in lettering. Another should show the table and base. Another of the horizontal shaft across the top, and one which shows the whole machine.

There are lots of guys on this board who can provide information.

Would LOVE to get my 21" Royersford Excelsior drill press going - missing a part and will not start until I have it! Anyone have it?
Looks like somewhere in it's life someone took the two bolts out and removed that assembly....
