Can a 2010 bar feeder work with a 2014 ST20?

The bar feed model is BAR48A. Any reason this won’t work with a 2014 ST20? I know the model number for a 2014 bar feeder is BAR48B but I don’t know what the differences are.

It's probably best to call Haas with the model and serial numbers and ask.

i was talking about this with a tech the other day. He said most will fit but most of the time there is a software problem matching old to new.

no reason why it shouldn't. yeah, you might have to poke a parameter or two, but nothing crazy likely to be required.

2010 would be ser 1 drivers and 2014 "COULD" be ser 4 drivers ... it was sometime in 2014 or early 2015 that they changed motor drivers ...

I bought a 2000 barfeeder for my New to me then 2010 SL-10...was told it would hook up and work fine.

Not compatible, had to connect to the 04 SL-10.

It doesn't answer your question...but make sure you get a Quote to connect and get running just in case.
