Charmilles Robofil 380 RS232 error (fanuc)

Hello,

im running a 2005 Robofil 380, and i have problem with RS232. After starting machine there is "PMC W2158: RS232 LINE CHECK TIME DEFAULT", checked cable it seems to be ok, pulled out then putted in some plugs on boards and boards itself, after few times machine started normally. After sunday it constantly starts with this error.





Had same problem back in 2019, replaced "master" card but the error was still on, technician pulled out cable pluged it back in and it worked back then.

Lower red diode is mostly on, sometimes its off, still have error. When its on lower cards (UPR) are off.

Anyne had simillar error? Technician form Charmilles is not sure what it could be, he said we should start with replacing RS232 cable i not sure about it being source of it. Will replace it but have to wait for it.

What does the fanuc i18 main controller leds show
We must know more
Can ypu please put the machine in english

BLAD ZASILANIA means POWER OFF, poor translation but its the message that shows up when turning off machine.


Turned on mechine without rs232 cable pluged in, and the same messages are showing up. DoubleChecked cable with multimeter and there is a signal between plugs. Is it possible that there is signal but its to weak or slow or anything wrong with it?

UPDATE:

After replacing cable it was still turning on with error and not working. Service came to check it again, installed newer software (did not help), then replaced master card and it helped, machine turned on fine.
