I have a complex substance that I would like to send to a lab to determine what is in it and at what qty. What lab might I send the solution to for analysis? This is for personal use only. Also what is the average price?

Based on your profile I would guess you are trying to copy a product to then sell with your label.

Diamond and Graphite are both just pure carbon. There is more to it then just the chemistry. heat treat is important in metals. Diamond is just graphite that has been heated and pressure treated. They do that in labs now.

That's a very odd first post on a machinist forum.
Especially since Google exists.

You're looking suspiciously like a spammer. Got my eye on you.

Based on the details I can say for certain there are three possibilities for this unknown material:

1) unobtainium
2) nobendium
3) plutonium tri-arsenide.

If it's the 3rd, you probably won't get a repeat post from this guy.

I bet he is looking for the holly grail or maybe the Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe.
Reminds me of the Frank & Ernst cartoon recipe. Take one banana, Peel.
