Being new to the CNC world, having a first MCV-800 vertical milling machine, they dont produce the wipers for the ways anymore, and the chip covers have the wipers all torn up.
So my question being is, is the chip cover wipers a universal wiper most of the time? or specific to each?
and who is the best source for something like this if its available in North america?

I know someone is 3d printing rubber wipers and shift lever bellows SEALS out of some rubbery compound for Harrison lathes. They are selling them on ebay. If you have an original, or proper drawing, someone can generate a 3d model and print it.

And in the event you want to build your own bellows (for whatever) there are some damn interesting traditional accordion making videos to be found.

There’s a sticky thread on way cover resources over in the antique machinery sub-forum that might be useful.

EDIT: It’s the machinery restoration forum
