Chuck actuator alignment

I pulled my actuator to inspect it after a crash and now I need to reinstall it. The manual wants <0.0004" TIR and based upon the mounting arrangement, this looks to be a fiddly little bastard.

Aside from cleanliness what tips do you guys have for installing and aligning these things? The model is S1552, from a QT15n.
