I am attempting to fabricate a power feed for the knee to raise and lower the table on Cincinatti 1d milling machine. I have removed the crank and the tapered pin on the clutch-elevating crank. From the exploded view it appears to be threaded on. I really do not want to break any parts. Any ideas for removing the castle nut? I have attached a photo. Thanks, fyf4267

It appears the "clutch" is both taper pinned (dark round hole where set screw was?) and a nice fit on the shaft extending out towards us.
Why do you think the "clutch" is threaded on?

Here is a similar "crank" assy - and its "clutch" is part of the crank assy

Your "clutch" is the "other half" and turns that shaft going into the machine

Here is a picture from manual and it appears that the bearing 73b slides on shaft 72b. Then 77b threads on to the shaft. Thanks for your help, Fred
