Slowing down the Z1 rapids would reduce the SFM of the bar on the carbide, has helped
Another route is to use a different material or a coated guide bushing; basically a standard guide bushing but with a coating (like an insert gets coated) that is very very west resistant and it’s very difficult for stainless to stick to the coating.
