Converting tikka T3 to ppc

Hi all!

Looking at using some tikka T3 actions as platforms for fun project guns. Have several on hand already and parts are relatively cheap and available.

They all have 308 bolt face. I know I can buy a mag to feed BR and PPC so thats a start. What I'm wondering is if the extractor could be modified by removing some material from the inner surface that mates against the side of the bolt to allow the extractor claw to "reach" further in and compensate for the smaller case head.

Barnard actions use a similar theory but just wanted to see if anyone here has had success with a tikka

You know the PPC case head is smaller than a .308. It is the same as 7.62x39, I think. Not a great deal of difference but you might need a spacer opposite the extractor for best function.

Yeah mate pretty aware of the difference in cases head diameter and that's what has posed the question.
