Coolant Filter Retrofit for VMC

Hey Duc. I've decided to go with the McMaster 5168K249. I'm curious what bag material you use.

I would think two at most. One at each end. More than adequate.

Ran the belt skimmer today. Picked up a good surface layer of tramp oil in a couple of hours. Can't believe I never tried that before, given that I've been using one to great effect on our ultrasonic machine for years.

Bubbler and filtration units going in place this week.

I've tried two different bag materials but I will need to open the filter to see what is current in the system.

5783K48 - 100 micron filter, I believe this is currently in
or
5162K112 - 200 micron filter

Pressure gauges
3846K6 = 0-15 PSI gauge with 1/4 NPT

Before installing the filter I was having issues with small chips clogging the coolant nozzles or my accublast servo coolant system.

If you use a tramp oil skimmer that pumps the coolant through a coalecing filter you won't need a bubbler.

If you use a tramp oil skimmer that pumps the coolant through a coalecing filter you won't need a bubbler.

As well as remove so much more oil, and doesn't evaporate as much coolant as a bubbler.
