Hello from France

I apologize for my very bad english.

I have just bought an used Cuoghi APE 40 drill and tap sharpener. This small italian machine seem easyer to use than my old Cincinnati #2 tool grinder.

I would be delighted to share experience with APE 40 owners.

This machine has several options. I am interesting in sharing drawings of special parts as for example cams. I have only 3 cams : #2, #6, #8.wet grinding device (my machine haven't this device), best practices etc.

They aren't that hard to make even on a manual machine. I made a couple similar ones for my Black Diamond. Rotary table or dividing head and an indicator will map an old one to duplicate. To cut the duplicate just use an endmill or boring head and a dividing head or a ball mill and a rotary table. Do a little smoothing afterward. For a new one you'd need to plot the curves yourself and it could be cut the same way.

Looks like a nice grinder. First time I've seen that one.

I have exacly the same opinion than eKretz

For me the real problem is to find cams.

#10 is very interesting beacause it is used for 3 flute tools. Normally supplied with all new machines. Mine seems lost...
