Cure for stiff chuck grease...................

I use a SMW chuck grease..............very thick. Very tacky. Works pretty good. But dang, is it hard to pump a couple shots into each zerk. In the morning the shop is cool making the grease very stiff. Almost blow a blood vessel in my forehead tryin' to pump the gun................but as worthless as Haas machines are, they do come in handy every now and again.........................grease warmer.

Never thought of that. It gets kinda warm up there, fast.

Storing it in an old cooler, with an incandescent trouble light thrown in, would keep it uniformly warm and ready-to-go. I believe you can still get "rough service" incandescent lights...
