Hi all,
I’m looking at purchasing a FP2NC from California and shipping it overseas. Can anyone recommend a rigger who is suitable to pickup and crate it properly for international transportation? Machine is in Redwood City, CA.
Will take a guess on the size and weight to get an idea on shipping costs. It’s going to hurt!
Thanks,
H

Might want to check if the wood has to be treated for overseas shipment to NZ. Who ever makes the crate may not know that

Note that to Australia for sure and probably NZ too ISPM15 is not enough Plywood is problematic So I use all timber crates Then ISPM15 is oke
Also invest in the measurements against the BMSB(Brown motted stink bug ) It applies to Australia and NZ

I would ask the seller to arrange crating on his side
Get a quote CIP port
Look into the incoterms

Don't know any specifics ,but had customers who shipped cars to NZ...
Used refrigerated containers that were used to ship beef to the US and returned empty...made for a good price.
Unfortunately the customer has since passed...so no info there, sorry.

They ship cars all over the world including ZN and Australia. I shipped an engine to Australia last year using them. I crated it and dropped it off on their dock.
