The batteries in my Lynx220lmsa die without warning and it's a big giant pain in the ass to reset the x,z&b origins.

On my other Fanuc controlled lathes I will get a low battery alarm, change out the batteries while powered up and I'm rolling again.

I'm using good quality batteries and not the cheap Amazon ones.

Is there a parameter or something that can be turned on to give a low battery warning? This shit is getting old.

My Lynx does the same thing and AFAIK there is no parameter that will fix it, seems like a luck of the draw thing. We did however come up with a solution, a rechargeable battery replacement device that you install once on any machine and you don't have to worry again about buying new batteries or the batteries dying. It draws power from the machine to charge itself while the machine is on. Let me know if you need more information. Link below (Get one for all of your machines, they pay for themselves)

I just have a maintenance sheet behind the machines and change them every year and write the date/voltage of new and old battery.
If it dies every 6 months, change it every 5 months...

I ordered one of the kits linked above.

I figure it will pay for itself with 3 saved battery changes.

Before I was turned onto the above kit, I thought about wiring up a lcd voltage display and changing them out at 5 volts.

For $120 I'll give the rechargeable kit a whirl.
