Similar, a bit less carbon and more manganese for EN32. 1018 is a better match. Machinable, wedldable, case hardenable

Where did you find this information, please?

I used cross reference charts, most suppliers and engineering books will have them.

You can google "steel cross reference chart" to get a table of most common steels equivalents. Steel grades: cross-reference of designation standards | Xometry Europe will give you a grade for grade equivalent.

Otherwise get the mechanical and chemical properties from something like google "EN32 steel properties" https://www.smithmetal.com/pdf/engineering/en32.pdf and compare with other steels.
