Engraving on Cast Iron?

I've made a couple Degree wheels on a manual mill, using a dividing head. Tilted the head at 45 degrees, used a sharp end mill, gave me nice clean lines, with a sharp point at the end.
Based on that experience, I would happily suggest that you find someone with a CNC indexer, and just pay the man!

It's pretty straightforward to do, but tedious.

You can usually contact them and request something special and they'll do it. They just keep the options limited on instant quoting.
