It's telling me my images are too large, but I'd be happy to email anyone interested in anything I have.

Punches - Mostly Dayton Lamina/Progress stuff. HSS and TC alike. Round, square etc. Ton of die buttons and dies. Ball lock receivers and shoulder receivers.

End/ball/finishing mills - New Orleans lightly used. Anything Damaged, broken, or burned I turn into blacksmithing blanks(eventually knives) or scrap. I have micro sizes from .5mm-1mm and 1/4-1 1/2 inch the larger stuff.

Twist drill bits/Taps/combo - Vintage and new. Unused or light use. Greenlee/National twist drill/PTD/KEO etc. I really only keep good stuff.

Gun drill bits - Eldorado from 12in-48in carbide tipped through-hole. .187-.875 all carbide tipped and All new or one sharpening. I have a B-fixture and diamond wheel too? It's missing a rod that I haven't had a chance to machine, but it should be easy for you guys and I don't have the space for a gun drill haha.

It's so much guys. Sorry, I'm exited. I stumbled on this site and never expected to have access to this much information without being in a shop or with one of my uncles who were millwrights for Bethlehem Steel. Thanks.

Here's some of the stuff. Sorry for the typos and such. I don't want to post too much either. I just get excitable. Someone had just convinced me to scrap a ton of lathe chucks, collets, carbide inserts etc. I should have waited.

Brand new guy set up a name here today just to sell stuff. No participation, yet....

Squirrelstools, You should tell us a good story of your uncles, these tools, how you came about them and what they were used for in the past etc etc.... Otherwise we may think you are a sleaze ball used equip dealer. This is there exact tactic so please prove it wrong. Pics and prices are the two things that will help you here.

I'm originally from Steelton PA, it's kinda in the name... I do sell used equipment to support buying the things I want to tinker with. As far as experience? I've milled parts for Amish assembly steam operated canners in Lancaster PA. Worked on Hamburg presses printing Yellowbook in Ohio, ran a loading bander operation in Youngstown Ohio that puts 7 ton bundles of steel on rail cars and took that 70yo machine apart and put it back together a dozen times. I learned typesetting and rogh blacksmithing in Greenfield Village/Henry Ford and did commercial electrical in Chrysler Dodge subsidiary plants, where I fell in love with old presses and lathes. My credentials are what they are.

.734 x 48 inch Carbide tipped-$75.00
Norgren separator (came with a compressor, unused, had a unit) $80.00

Punches and dies? Honestly, I catalog everything like that. I don't have the space or capacity for that type of press when I'm trying to rebuild a belt driven lathe. I have a ton of em. Never priced em out, don't know.

The four foot .812s will run $125.00 that's a fair price.

I have a bunch of new and used ball lock heads. What I did look at seemed ridiculously expensive, make me a decent offer (over $20.00) and tell me what size you need. I got em trying to buy a bearing shaft.

The taps are ones I have triple and double of. There's a ton. Unused. Not consistently sized or branded. If they're worth anything to you, let me know.

I came here because someone on garage journal said it would be more appropriate for my hobby. Didn't know I was gonna get lambasted walking in the door.vim not going to give stuff I paid money for away for free, but I got good deals and I figured I'd spread the love around. I won't throw another for sale up, my bad

We get a lot of sleazy used car type of tool dealers trying to sneak in to sell. So far you do not seem to be "that guy", but being as this is you first day, we dont know. The rules in the for sale area say this is a service for participating members. It sounds like you will fit right in and if you post some good items for sale at a reasonable price everyone will thank you.
Put more posts up of what you are doing or reply in others threads where you can offer assistance, then more sale adds will be most welcome.
Be sure to read the first 5 posts in this for sale section to see what is expected, they are pinned to the top.

I read back through that and I'm sorry I snapped at you. I'll own that. It's been a rough year and I'm getting ready for a funeral. That's not your fault or your problem. No reason to behave that way. I apologize. I really was just happy to see people doing what I'm doing. I genuinely do have a ton of things I can't use, because I buy stuff the big guys don't bid on. Antique and vintage parts and pieces. Some as stencils to practice, some for rebuilds. I don't have any desire to rebuild a flywheel press or a pneumatic one. But I buy the pallets for the box of swiss files, a bearing or some gesswien stones. It's just my thing. Sorry.

I'm not sure that anyone really uses them much anymore (around here anyway, I called a couple shop owners), so you're probably right haha. I just thought I'd throw the offer out there. They're kind of cool, and if someone had a setup in a pole barn they might want different receivers maybe? The pins and at least the solid punches will end up in my knife stock.

Do you have pictures of them?

So, this is what I have for those machines for the most part. All came at once, cataloged and put away. There's probably half a dozen more receivers around somewhere and a couple dozen punches? I did clean and oil all the receivers, replace springs where necessary and such.

Quick question though. I'm not super into modern machines. I know some and worked some presses. Are those two little guys at the end clamps/hold downs for something? Been driving me crazy. Never could find em online.

Not to be a nuisance, but I totally forgot these guys too. Figured might as well. I have a bunch of bearing pins/sleeves/collars/and the pin punches also? Down to like 1/64. I built myself a rig with a 2 ton press to run those so I won't add them unless someone really needs a specific one(no charge, they'll mail and a need is a need)? I have more than I need, but I like redundancy haha.

Are those two little guys at the end clamps/hold downs for something?

If you talking about the two blocks with rectangular holes in the first photo. They look like part of a stock stop for a stamping die. If that's what they are there missing a bunch of parts. There should be a lever, a pin and a spring with them. I'm not sure though. If you could post a couple of picture's from different angles we might be able to come up with a better answer.

Another thing most of those punches are most likely High Speed Steel, not the best choice to forge into knife blade.

Im in for the night, and yeah they're not the greatest alone. But they make a decent Damascus billet and if I use em alone I usually just make little folding knives that I carry till I see someone who needs one and give it to em.
