For Sale- South Bend 9 inch Lathe. Comes with 3 jaw , 4 jaw, tailstock drill chuck, lantern style tool post, change gears and motor drive assy. with leather belt ,1/4 hp motor single phase 120v. S/n 09986. Originally sold by AC Colby NYC. The overall length is about forty inches. Pick up only on Long Island, Nassau county, north shore. Nice machine with a lot of potential. It maybe a little tough to get $900 for a model C. With the gears and other stuff they still have a following. Even with the price of fuel, tools and NY traffic it should find a new home. Oil everything up as to prevent any more rust and keep covered.

I sold one, not nearly as complete (missing drive unit and change gears, among other things), for $400, so this isn't out of the ballpark when you figure the value of replacement parts. And that was five years ago,
Out here, someone was asking $2k for one of those.
