Clean, Used 2 owner:
1984 Cinci 5VC 750.
5hp Fanuc geared head spindle
15 x 30 travels on Siemens
Original owner was Aerospace, and they updated the 900 control in the mid 90's to a 3 axis PC based MDSI control.
This control works VERY well, but it does NOT doo rigid tapping.
Machine is in VERY good condition, but has not ran in the last few years.
I am 95% sure that the issue is a bad ISO/OPTO input base, as it seems to think that it is seeing a prox that is not on.
We have chased it and it appears to be the back plane strip to my best guess, which really shouldn't be much of an issue...
The machine is just too slow to compete in production these days, but maybe someone would like some cheap rigid iron that would work very well for tooling?
It is a semi open bed design with a semi functional enclosure around 3 sides and a chip conveyor.
I have it setting in a drip pan and keep a small pump to put the losses back into play.
480V (std Siemens)
Again - the machine is mechanically tight and right.
EXCEPT for the Zaxis brake just doesn't hold anymore.
I very well may have the parts required to fix that too.
Anyone interested @ $1000?
Comes with spare parts from a sister 1983 machine.
I think that there is a spare:
A/C unit
Spindle drive
Rack of servo drives
Whole and or parts of spare servo motors.
If someone wants to come and strip the goodies and take the crate of spares and leave the carcass, that is fine too.
