That was my original mountain bike!
Came with DX components at thevtime, which were 1 step up from LX.
I put many trail miles on that thing!
I rebuilt it as a city/neighborhood bike with full XTR, which is silly, but fun! :-)

The steady rest is indeed for a Takisawa TSL series, but maybe a moot point if Da' girl is willing to adapt it. (Hope I haven't queered that deal.)

And I'll take the the 6-jaw buck for $150 if the deal with Matt falls through.

I have a chuck key for the 6 jaw chuck and the scroll works fine. The chuck could use a cleaning, but that’s easy.
