FP3 Active with trouble

Yet another problem
The gear on the clutch part as seen on the picture below on the left does not engage fully with the mating gear
If it was the full wide it would be perfect
I see no reason to make it narrower like it is
Can someone verify this is the right clutch part for a FP3 active
Has some pictures perhaps?
FP2 is the same I think
If I order a new one and it is also narrow we are wasting money

Peter, I like your approach. From everything I've seen, you do things well and quickly, but if possible using tools on hand and always trying to keep the costs down. It makes sense. Cheers, Bruce

PS: since I've never done this (reground a masonary bit to use on metal) but like the idea, how about a photo or two?

Regrinding a masonary drill was done on a regular base here at the mould shops
Carbide drills were very expensive in the days
Just grind them on a diamond wheel like you would grind a regular drill
This drill has the tendency to shatter on exit So l clamp the workpiece on some steel for back-up
