Well it's looking like I am going to need to sell this machine also.
It's a solid machine and doesn't give me any problems.
Coming from a one man shop. I don't use it much. Shows 3521 hrs but I don't think that is accurate. I bought the machine off a PM member in 2017. They bought it new and closed shop when the owner passed.
40" x 24" x 24" travels
Fanuc 18i-MB control
BT40 12k rpm spindle
30 tool carousel
Thru spindle coolant
Air blast
Spindle thermal coolant system
Chip conveyor
4th axis prewire
Mist Away collector
Full set of Fanuc manuals. Bridgeport manuals and wiring/parts books and parameters on cd.
Parts are available through Hardinge.
As far as maintenance and repairs I've done:
New spindle belts and both pulleys
New from Hardinge X axis ball screw/nut and thrust bearings
New X axis linear rails
Y axis ball screw was sent out for inspection and rebuild at Roberts Ballscrew. Installed with new thrust bearings.
New way wipers
New X axis way covers
New chip conveyor gear box
Added new LED lights inside the enclosure
Fixed old misc air lines
I have a steel subplate for it that is set up for two Jergens ball lock plates. Misc BT 40 tooling if you are interested in package deal.
I'll post more pics and upload video of it running.
It's a beast of a machine at almost 14k lbs. Basically a Hardinge Xr or XP1000. The casting even looks the same in the new V1000 machines.
Asking $25k
