Posting this lathe up for sale or for parts if it comes to that.
I bought this a couple years ago with the intentions to fix it. I have another one just like it and wanted two.
I got this from a shop in Chicago. I saw it running.
Main issue is an overload alarm on the x axis and a busted gear in the live tooling drive system.
Parts new and in stock from hardinge. I was quoted around $6k for new z axis ball screw, new x axis ball screw, and thrust bearings for both.
Comes with tooling for the turret, chuck and 16c collet nose.
I'd keep it but am being forced to move and downsize
