For Sale: Horton 4-Jaw Combination Chuck (has both a scroll and each jaw is independently adjustable)
Horton Model No. 184 (listed as a 10" chuck, but actual outside diameter is 9-7/16")
Semi-steel body. Outside jaws only. Three bolt (5/8"-11) backplate, with 7" register. Center hole is 2-5/8". Lathe chuck key included.
This is a used chuck, and is not as tight as a new one, but everything still functions. See photos below. The chuck was completely disassembled, cleaned, de-rusted as required, inspected, lubricated, re-assembled, and is boxed, ready to ship. One of the top jaws is missing two teeth where it engages the screw in the scroll caddy (see red circle in photo below), likely the result of someone trying to grip the outside of a workpiece with the jaws reversed; it shouldn't affect the operation of the chuck with the jaws in the normal position.
Package is 14" x 14" x 8", 74 lbs.
$275 plus actual shipping cost by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Payment by PayPal (+3% or F&F) or check.
