Turns out I had more hardware than I had realized.

I used some non-marking pliers to rotate the index selector shaft, so that the witness marks align. I used a red sharpie to make them more visible. I dont know if these need to be in line for disassembly, but figuring the factory had its reasons for them, I am going to make sure they are aligned before I proceed. sad dp
