G167 Modify Setting - Guard Code?

Hello. I'm trying to set setting 36 - Program Restart to off in a program using a G167 - Modify Setting. The Haas homepage mentions something about a guard code (K). What exactly is this guard code and must I have this to use G167? It's not very clear from the webpage.

I tried:
G167 P36 Q0

This gives me error 9002: Invalid P Q or K in G167
