When I bought my Clausing 111 lathe I received a bunch of gears and extra chucks in with the deal. I can't actually use any of the gears listed and I don't need that many chucks. First up are the chucks:
1. The Cushman chuck, Hartford Conn. 5" 3 jaw chuck with 2 extra sets of jaws. The threading is 1 1/2" diameter and 8 teeth per inch. This would fit my clausing. Asking 150 shipped to you.
2. 4 jaw independent chuck 6" diameter. There is no name on the chuck. The threading at the back is 1 1/2" diameter but the thread is finer than the 8 for my clausing. I don't have a thread gauge right now. I have pics and I can take very detailed further pics is needed. Asking 140 shipped to you.
3. 6" Craftsman 1111706 4 jaw independent chuck. Threaded 1 1/2 by 8 just like the clausing. Asking 150 shipped to you.
On the chucks- if you think I am too high please make an offer. I am still looking for a steady rest, follower rest, 5C collet chuck an a quick change tool post- wedge type.
Gears- all of these are for the threading gears. I prefer to sell as a set.
4. I have a set of gears marked Boston gears. The i.d. is 1/2 for most of them. Here they are- GB-81, GB- 60, GB-60, NA-80, YA-60, also on combo gear with 3/8 id sleeve with G1648 and GB23 together, also one dual GB-23 with 3/8 id sleeve. Asking 130 shipped for the whole bunch.
5. Perfection Gears 1/2 i.d. stepped gear on one, 3/8 on the other. The 1/2 has a bronze bushing reducing it to 3/8. No labeling for the teeth. These are 1/2 thick. Asking 50 shipped
6. Dual key way gears, 3/8 thick with 1/2 i.d. Teeth as follows. 56T, 54T, 52T, 46T, 44T, 40T and 2 32T. Asking 100 for all.
7. Last up is a group of gears with 11/16 ID bore. Plus one insert that reduces to 3/8. These are all about 1/2 thick. I have a 32T, 36T, 40T, 44T, 46T, 48T, 52T, 54T, 56T, 60T and 64T. Asking 150 for the set.
I have some web quality pics and large detail pics if needed. Daniel Frazee [email protected]
