Graziano Sag 12 Follow rest I think....

Hi Guys,

There appears to be a sag 12 follow rest listed here. I follow Graziano sag lathes on ebay though I only have a sag 210 now, no longer the sag 12.

The seller has this which seems like it might be the steady for a sag 12 as well.

No gurantees though on either one.

I contacted the seller on Wednesday and will be picking the follower up in a couple of hours. I too saw the steady that you posted. It looks like it may fit but I don't think it is an original Graziano.

I picked up the follower and it is a perfect fit on my SAG12.

The steady rest will fit even though it is not an original. I passed on the steady so it is still up for sell.

The only thing that is not completely correct is the rear foot which stands on the rear way only contacts approximately 1/2 of the way. That should not be an issue since the steady rest doesn't take much force.

Other thing not correct is the V-way is at the front on a SAG12, and that would put the pivot on the steady rest at the front. Never seen a steady rest that opens to the front.
