Haas VM2 low air pressure

Colleagues in toolroom have problem with vm2. It is 2008 model and it stuck when change tool. Alarm 120. So I watch gauge and it goes from 85psi to 60psi when it goes in tool change.

Shop air pressure didn't change.

So what could be reason? Maintain crew said hoses are okey no leaking. Could something in machine leak more air then usual? They do lot of tool changes because there isn't practise to make part pallets so could some seal give up? Is it normal to drop to 60psi? Is there some filter which csn be clean or replaced which make problems?

Could we add additional compressor so we can have 100psi on vm2 so pressure will drop to 85psi when it change tool.

Some people have found it helpful to have a small pressure tank close to the Haas air inlet to prevent loss of pressure during "hi draw" events like tool changes. Maximize the hose and fitting size between the tank and Haas, and that will eliminate at least one possible fault mechanism.

It could also be one of the solenoid valves in the toolchange path having problems - you'd have to pull some sheetmetal off the head to check that out.
