So I am looking at purchasing a GT style lathe and I have found two different ones that I am thinking about.
One of them is a Hardinge GT27 SP with the Fanuc 18T control. The other lathe is a CMS (Compaq) GT27 with a Fagor control.
Can anyone give me their opinion and or difference between the two lathes? Reason to favor one over the other?
The price, age are basically the same.
