Hi,
I am starting to restore an old instrument and am interested in knowing what the part seen in the attached photo might called.

Does anyone know? I've tried multiple searches and am coming up empty.

The piece I'm referring to is the banjo-type fixture which holdsPXL_20230131_200433676~2.jpg the two bevel gears at 90 degree angles.

Thank you in advance. And apologies if this should be posted in a different forum.

The most generic term for that device is "right angle drive." They transmit motion between two intersecting shafts at 90 degrees to each other. The ratio can be 1:1 or something else.
