Help Identifying Year of Lathe

I've got an old SB9 lathe I'm trying to identify. I believe the year is around 1931 but not entirely sure. I haven't seen the catalog number listed in any of the old brochures. I also haven't seen the countershaft that came with it but this may not have been an original part.

Yes, the year is 1931. In October. On the 14th. It was a cold and rainy day. (Or, it was a dark and stormy night!)
