There's no hard and fast rules for this situation, you understand ... but I usually start off with something gentle, like

if that doesn't work then you have to get serious with the damn thing, application of a little heat can help

and finally, if the thing still wants to be stubborn, you've gotta get truly firm with it

if that doesn't do it, you're on your own :(

Is there a FO button under MACHINE? Or FU? Prob some parameters to change to let you move the tool changer as you please. Those parameters are well hidden and could also be password protected.
Putting the tool in backwards will NOT let you machine both sides of a part in one operation. Now you know.

Is the tool changer mechanical, hydraulic or Air operated? if Air or hydraulic, you should be able to actuate the valves manually to unjam the tool changer. That valve information should be in the maintenance manual for the machine.
If mechanical, you can locate the TC motor and rotate it in reverse to back things up. Hopefull a mazak god will chime in here and rescue you. Have you called Mazak and ask them how to fix it?

Ug, dealt with plenty of tools stuck in Integrex spindles, mostly capto, but the picture you paint is pretty ugly and will take a few steps to get back to where you can asses the actual damage.

There are many more knowledgeable people here that have a better chance of getting the debacle untangled. Once you get there if you need help with the spindle/drawbar/taper/damage I can probably get you though that.

Here's a pic of the last one. I630 capto C8 with a stuck tool, took LOTS of force to extract...

I will reply if I get to look at the screen tomorrow. It is under the MACHINE soft key, maybe hard key. Something to do with tool arm "repair". Like the time I hand loaded a stupid long spade drill and tried to get it into the magazine. Oops, too fookin long in length and I hit the button just after the fact.
