Hitachi Seiki VK45 Z axis alarm help

Machine: Hitachi Seiki VK45 SEICOS MIII

Alarm: NC ALARM (1110) NUMC SYSTEM FAIL whatch-dog alarm occurs in the NUMC board

The machine will power up ok, it will home. Then on the control the Z axis readout goes funky, numbers bouncing all around. It can start to run program, then after several seconds errored out.

Any help on what direction to go from here?

Call Mori-Seiki for a replacement board.
N.E.C. pulled out of the CNC market in the late 90s, But Mori might have the parts in Japan.

It is not easy to replace without the AT-YUMO program that loads the data into the board.
Have a expert do this for you.

Record your EXACT version of this board. There were many revisions over the 8 years this was made.
Should be 16-02-00-xx for the 'old' version. And 16-02-02-xx for the new version.
The new version has a dependency of a matching LSPC board.

Not backwards version compatible.

Привет. Светодиоды не горят . И с низу не подходит к блоку питание (нет провода) .

Well, You will have to find another SLPW or get yours fixed.

Not a issue here in the USA.
I am sure Japan or Germany has people who have fixed this in the past.

Take detailed photos of the jumper positions before you send it out for repair.

Спасибо! Будем пробовать отремонтировать самостоятельно. Ещё проблема заблокировали изменение параметров 7600 (00000001) , поменяли на 00000000 и 5010 (00000001) было стало 0000000 - не можем вернуть обратно.

Do not worry about no connection to the output screw terminals.
Unless you have something unusual like a robot they only use the plug-in connections.

Check the input connection for 200v AC.

Спасибо! Будем пробовать отремонтировать самостоятельно. Ещё проблема заблокировали изменение параметров 7600 (00000001) , поменяли на 00000000 и 5010 (00000001) было стало 0000000 - не можем вернуть обратно.

Про параметры нет информации ?

Communication parameters are normally set from the I/O screen. Not directly from the parameters.

Not sure what Para # 7600 is. Not in my book.
