Hello!
I've gotten back on the PM forum after not using it ir participating for several years.
For whatever reason I am starting from scratch, a Plastic, and I can search for my older posts but nothing appears.
Can anyone explain how to resurrect my older information and posts.
Thanks

The forum software has go through several iterations in the past few years, the latest being earlier this year.

IIRC about 5-6 yeas ago members were complaining of posts being wiped after an upgrade. Maybe they only resurrected the posts of members that were complaining at the time.

How old of an account are you talking? Like chaski days?

It was probably around 10-15 years ago that there was a problem and all the old General posts were placed in the General - Archive forum. But I could not find any there under your user name. Did you use another user name?

I'm scratching my head over that question.
When I first attempted to Login, the box requested name or Email, so I put the same Email in that I had forever and it came up with the name I now have, but I believe I was a Platinum, not a Plastic 😄.
I frequented the Antique Machinery a majority of the Time while restoring/rebuilding my '44 Pratt and Whitney 16x54 Model C Engine Lathe.

We all put our pants on one leg at a time.

I built a little fixture that holds my jeans (I hear that in England "pants" means women's underwear ?), set a mini-trampoline in front of it, take three steps, a little jump and viola, down into the trousers both legs at once !

One of these days there will probably be a disaster ...

You might try searching on topics you disscussed here back at that time. Perhaps you might recognize your former username from the posts that result from the search.

…that will entail your voice being an octave or three higher.
