How would a shooting war effect manufacturing in Europe?

Funny how so many act as if this Russia-Ukraine thing was the end of the world as we know it yet virtually ignored the fairly recent China-India clashes, especially since those are both large countries with nuclear weapons and lots of troops.

This very aspect came up in conversation today. The other party really had no recollection. Was it "Something over there?"

No wonder history keeps repeating.
