There are differences about what is right and fair according to previous agreements (Minsk2). It is clear which side has been the transgressor if one pays any attention to recent history. Who drives those transgressions? Not the people. Or was Maidan spontaneous?

Now, I read several long standing German business concerns across various industries are going belly up due to "costs of doing business", and finding suitable employees etc.

Why did they have to level Mariupol-proper instead of leaving it to the Russian friendlies to take care of business? There was no Ukranian resupply available and the Ukranian nationalists were busy enough fending for themselves in other parts of the country, certainly had not enough attention to be paid for saving a few hundred neonazis stranded in a miserable hellhole, so why the rush to destroy everything?

Russia has proved it is a third world dictatorship with a ineffective military. The only reason it is important is it has nuclear weapons. Some of which may even still work..

"third world dictatorship".....I guess we are lucky North Korea who fought us to an armistice, North Vietnam who booted our ass after 10 years, and the Taliban for a whole lot of years------Yeah.
