Inventor 2023 appearance changing

I am using Pro 2023. intermittently model colors will change. I created a model yesterday in the standard default appearance. I left my PC on last night and when I got in this morning it is black and will not let me change it back. This has happened 3 or 4 times since I upgraded to 2023. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening and how to return to the default color? (Going to appearance and choosing default doesn't work)

Almost all programs have configuration files. Find the one that does appearances for Inventor, set it the way you want, then make it read-only for everyone including administrators.

Thanks for the suggestion but it won't change it. As far as others changing something that's not possible either. This is a one man engineering dept. I get to own all the errors and successes.

Mwa ha haaa, are you connected to the internet ? Are you running any kind of ipfilter or firewall that does not let autodicks through ? Betcha a quarter that Inventor is having daily conversations with the copper-roof demons.

Something is changing your settings. This is a computer, not supposed to have poltergeists.

I had this happen last year frequently. I would like to say I have a solution, but it seems to have went away on it's own, whether through updates or magic I don't know but I haven't had the issue for months now.
