I think it's over, actually. There's plenty of vaccines and it's free. If people don't want to get the shot, fine. Let 'em die. The rest of us can now go on our merry way ....

China did kind of a cute trick along those lines, btw. If you got covid inside the country treatment was free. But if you went outside and brought it back, you paid for yourself. Full retail.

There's that 'personal responsibility' thing again :)

Over? Fauci is now talking a "Delta" variant.

45% fully vaccinated in the U.S. according to numbers on the net.

A far cry from Joe Biden's 70% by the 4th of July. Guess Joe will not make 70% by the 4th.

Oddly, Covid deaths in the US are higher in states with low vaccination rates - how is that possible?

COVID-19 Update: US States with High Rates of Unvaccinated People at Highest Risk of Delta Variant Spread; and More - Docwire News

So we have predominantly "right" states with low jab rates pulling down the nation's overall average. While the supply is at an all-time high in the country, to the point where some is going to waste.

And that's Joe's fault? Not the retrograde-right, which has done all it can to convince its cultists, sorry, members that hydroxychloroquine will do the job instead? Or bleach. Or UV lights. Or other fantasies, like the virus doesn't exist or is the flu?

In this case, EG is correct. The unprotected, those unwilling to save themselves through sensible acts like vaccination and masks, will suffer higher rates of illness and death from Covid.

Gosh, such a tragedy...

C'mon, parts, quit being Debbie Downer. The people who insist that vaccines make you magnetic can croak, it'll be good for the IQ average of the country. And you should get a hobby, put a smile on your face instead of this fixation with the evils of Democrats. Mabe learn to run Pro/E, or play the saxophone.

Did we loose the OP or did he/she think this is not a good place to post a job opening?
Lessons are learned....... I hope many feel proud.
Knowing the feedback to come how many would post a help wanted ad here?
Years ago it different, now, not me. Seems so many want to trash somebody or complain and just a simple job opening is a way to do it.
I do not think this the place on the board for such going on and wonder how it now looks from the outside.

One 'o', Bob. Please.

Not sure it was a great job anyhow. All that "rah rah rah ! team spirit ! slave your ass off for no money ! yippy kiyo kiyay !" stuff may not be the right fit for most people here.

"can croak, it'll be good for the IQ average of the country."

Oh yeah plenty lined up coming over the Southern border with all kinds of skill sets and advanced degrees will certainly offset losses.

"fixation with the evils of Democrats" LOL "evils of Democrats" are hard to ignore.

"And that's Joe's fault?" Yeah, pretty much. Until of course Klamydia takes over.

Demographics. Take a look at the double jab rate based on demographics.

Big cities are run by Democrats and that presents issues on vaccination rates. "lack of access to vaccines and structural barriers are also hurting vaccination rates in these communities."

Joe Biden is President. VP Harris no doubt was picked to bring in the minority vote.

As has been the case for decades now Democrat run big cities continue to decline. Promises made by Democrats to gain the vote always are forgotten once the election is over.

Numbers don't lie in regard to people of color being underserved in Dem run cities.

Vaccination rates lag in communities of color, but it'''s not only due to hesitancy, experts say - ABC News

States. It's states where the issue of low vaccination rates is most critical, especially in the South:

States most vulnerable to COVID are some of the least vaccinated - Axios

As for some demographics being hesitant, there's been a heavy outreach effort from the Feds, but a history of bad behavior by authorities in the past has made some minorities fearful of getting vaccinated. So be it, at some point they'll have to get over it.

If your trapped in a Democrat run shithole city I guess "they'll have to get over it" probably best describes how Dems view things.

Actually, parts, I sort of feel sorry for you. At one time you could move to Spain and be happy, but Franco is dead. Or Chile, but Pinochet, same. Argentina, Peron ? Phillipines, Marcos ? Italy could be fun but they hung Mussolini and his floozy up by the heels ages ago.

Hell, it's hard to find a really good place for you to live these days :(

LOL!

Was just thinking how it must suck to get booted from a place where you spent decades and now are exiled to a country that is totally fucked---or so you claim.

Ever consider your former commie hosts are having some fun with you?

Heck..ever consider Pasadena?

If you are referring to the Vice President, she could run circles around your tiny redneck peabrain any day of the week.

Yeah......Harris was wildly popular in the Democrat primaries 844 votes. VP Harris has talent. And that is well established.

You're right, it's not that great but into each life some rain must fall. The virus thing won't last forever.

If it was just me I'd probably spend the rest of my days up desolation sound and farther north, it's pretty cool up there. Whales, dolphins, eagles, bears, oh my. And not many people. But Mr Winky still gets ideas so for now ....
