It cracks me up every time you use the term "fart fan." Is that common lingo for your area or something you made up?

I am not certain where it came from, my take on the world around me ain't the same as most folk. It used to be ma and pops didn't like it or the rest of my redneck lingo as a kid, I had a lot of alone time in my room, picked up a lot of rocks on 75 acres and a few beatings over it, didn't fix much, seems I have too hard a head. They always had it figured that I would go farther in life if I were to speak better and conform a little more, ma did get over it for the most part, perhaps she gave up about the time my sister decided to go off to school to become a Chiropractor, pops quit worrying about me when I left home.

You, it used to be " moving the shop from California to Idaho" OX changed it when we quit moving out of California, a year later we are still trying to move into Idaho, a lot of the problems are Covid fallout but it is what it is.

Today I got to relocate the 4" square outlet boxes along the celling, they were supposed to be a minimum of 2" below the rafters but they were closer to an inch and a half not leaving room to put the 1x4 strips and ceiling metal. Jo and I got to move them all down an inch which would have been easy except they used torx screws with t20, t25 and some Philips heads to mount the boxes. Anyhow we got it done and went on to making the wall plates for the places where we couldn't buy them.

They did the ceiling in the inventory room, 48 x 16 and 14 feet off the floor, one end wall and started down the long wall. With the exception of door trim that has to wait for me to move in our 2nd packaging machine and the waterjet as they will not fir after the trim goes on, they should be done inside tomorrow afternoon. I have an assembly bench that is 3' wide and 22 feet long I welded together from 4" channel I got a good deal on, it has a 3/4 plywood top with carpet on it. It needs to go in sooner than later, I will have to remove the carpet, plywood then cut the bench frame in two so it can go in, then we can trim the doorways, put the man door back in between her office and the machine shop, then we are committed, we have to cease operations and move in. 20 4' wide x 18" shelf units 7' high stuffed with parts, assembled and or waiting to be that needs moved in a couple of days time so we can get back to work, then we will only be working in 2 buildings, woohoo! Mr Musks Starlink showed up the other day so I need to get that put up as well, sooner than later. Well, at least we aren't bored.

...that said, what kind of tumblers do you use? I've been looking for one, but they don't come up often around here (except the small ones reloaders use). Yes, this should probably go into a different thread....

And to get the "these go to eleven" joke, you really need to see the whole movie just to truly understand how stupid Nigel is...

They finished the inside walls today other than a bit of trim and heated electric floor for wonder woman's office but all the heavy stuff has to go through her office it get in so it will happen next week. The boys will start with some cleanup then start working on putting metal on the outside in the morning. We have their helper they use sometimes coming to help us move tomorrow, he is young, strong and not all beat up like we are. The plumber came back and finished, we get inspected Thursday, the electricians will be back in the morning and finish so we may get an electrical final this week too.

We got 60 led 4 foot dual tube lights in the inventory room today, took apart then cut apart the long bench, moved it in and put it back together, reloaded it and moved in 4 sets of shelves the other packaging machine. The electrician showed up and finished so we can get that inspection soon. We had a good day. tomorrow I am hoping to be 90% moved in by the end of the day then a few days of puttering to finish, Wonder Woman and I are bushed, long damn day.

Great looking setup!

I remember when I first starting selling my own products and had the "Oh shit I have to ship stuff!" moment. A well thought out shipping area is vital for a product biz and it looks like you've nailed it. Nice work.
