L&S 14" Literature says made by monarch

I just purchased this lodge and shipley 14" lathe, the documents I find say that it was made by monarch ?? can anybody chime in and confirm whereas I know nothing of this machine

Lodge & Shipley stopped producing lathes (went out of business) in 1987(?). Monarch purchased the rights (patents, parts, etc) in 1992. http://www.lathes.co.uk/monarch/monarch-History.pdf

Monarch Lathe is the OEM source for L&S parts and service. Monarch build few dozen L&S after buying the intellectual property (drawings, patents, logos, etc.) in 19992. Most lathes were built for the Navy.
