What we have here is a 80's open table CNC mill. I don't know much else about the specs on this thing as finding info on it is very difficult. It runs and we have owned it for over 25 years. The pneumatic tool release has been broken for pretty much forever. Never got around to changing it because this machine literally only did 1 thing for us. Would change the tool every 6 months maybe. Everything else works great on it for being so old.

Since we rarely use it now, we would like to sell it to make some more room for a future machine.

We are asking $3,800 OBO. You would also need to bring your own forklift to lift and load. We are located in Valencia, CA. (close to Magic Mountain) You can reach me at 661-714-6356, call or text is fine.

Not sure why the sound isn't working but you wouldn't be able to hear much since everything else is running in the background.

Having been in your shoes I recommend doing the following- Get an accurate weight of the machine. Call scrapyard for current quote for exactly what you have. Get a price for a tow company to haul it to the scrapyard.

Subtract the hauling price from the scrap payout to get your net earnings. Add a couple hundred bucks to this price since it's less work to carelessly scrap something than carefully get it out of your building. Put it up on craigslist for this price with a definitive scrap by date. I like two weeks.

IME about 50% of the time I end up scrapping the machine. I've done pretty well that way. Best way I've had it work out is to have the truck that brings in the new machine haul a couple clunkers off to scrap. In that way the hauling cost is almost nothing.

The machine works, just don't use it. I would hate to scrap it.
I have sold various other machines on here to garage guys. Was hoping this would be a nice entry into CNC for them.

Out of dozens of machines I have scrapped I can only think of one that wasn't in working shape and that was a Heald ID grinder with a locked up workhead.

I'd expect to have to pay someone to take it if you don't want to scrap it.
